Getting there
Aldersheim is twenty minutes from Mainz by car. By train, take the regional line to Alzey; from there it is ten minutes by taxi. You can park in our courtyard.
Questions we are asked
When will my wine arrive?
Orders leave the cellar within two working days. Within Germany they arrive two days later; elsewhere in the EU within a week.
Can I mix wines in a case?
Cases are one wine each, so we can pack them in the original carton. Order several cases, or single bottles of anything on the list.
How should I store the wines?
Lying down, somewhere dark at a steady 10 to 15 °C. The village wines are best within five years; the site wines keep for ten and more.
Do I need to book a tasting?
Not on Friday afternoons and Saturdays. For groups, a vineyard walk or another day, write to us a week ahead.
