Our grandparents Hedwig and Karl bought the first two hectares in 1952 and sold their wine by the barrel. Today we farm fourteen, and bottle every drop ourselves.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n

Winter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We prune every vine by hand in January and February, leaving one cane and a few buds for the year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Summer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In June we thin the leaves around the grapes so the morning sun and the wind can reach them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Autumn<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

From late September we pick by hand, site by site, and press each crate within the hour.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Every wine comes as a single bottle, a case of 6 or a case of 12. Cases ship in one box and save about five percent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
