Live demo of Cellar Door. Weingut Ebersold is a fictional business.

Cellar

Everything we pick is made and bottled under our own house, in a cellar that has held wine since 1789.

Oak casks in a long vaulted cellar

Eleven degrees all year

Under the house is a sandstone cellar from 1789. It stays at eleven degrees all year, which is all the climate control a Riesling needs.

We ferment with the yeasts the grapes bring in, in old 1,200-litre oak casks, and leave the wines on their lees until spring. We fine only where we must, and bottle when a wine is ready, not when the calendar says so.

Buy by the case

Every wine comes as a single bottle, a case of 6 or a case of 12. Cases ship in one box and save about five percent.
